These license terms constitute a contract between you and the provider of the app (“App Provider”), so be sure to read them. They apply to the add-in, connector, or other software that you download from the Office Store or purchase as part of the settings of an Office product (“App”), unless separate terms (“Third-Party License”) apply to the App. In such case, the terms of the Third-Party License will apply. This Agreement also applies to all upgrades and additions to the App, unless other terms apply to such components. In such case, those other terms will apply.

BY DOWNLOADING, INSTALLING OR USING THE APP OR ATTEMPTING TO DO ANY OF THESE, YOU ACCEPT THESE TERMS. IF YOU DO NOT ACCEPT THESE TERMS, YOU ARE NOT AUTHORIZED TO DOWNLOAD OR USE THE APP.

Except as set forth above, if the App enables you to access any Internet-based services, your use of services is subject to the terms of use provided to you separately.

In this Agreement, “App Provider” refers to the provider identified in more detail in the Office Store or App description that licenses the App to you. If the App is licensed to you by Microsoft, then Microsoft is the App provider (or one of Microsoft’s subsidiaries, depending on where you live).

If you comply with these license terms, you are granted the following rights.

1.     INSTALLATION AND USE RIGHTS. You may install and use the App on one or more Windows devices that are connected to the Microsoft account that you used to access the Office Store or the Office Product. You may not install or use a copy of the App on any device that you do not own or control.
   
   
2. INTERNET-BASED SERVICES. The App Provider may provide Internet-based services in connection with the App. In addition to the following terms and conditions, the use of such services is subject to the terms and conditions established by the App Provider and/or your network operator for the use of wireless networks.

   Consent to internet-based or wireless network-based services. The app may connect to other computer systems via an internet-based and/or wireless network. In some cases, you may not be definitively informed when the connection is established. By using the App, you consent to the transmission of standard device information (including, but not limited to, technical information about the device, system software and App, and peripherals) for Internet-based and/or wireless network-based services.

   Misuse of Internet-based services. You may not use Internet-based services in a manner that could interfere with the services or the wireless network or disrupt their use by others. You also may not use an Internet-based service to gain unauthorized access to services, data, accounts, or networks.

3. SCOPE OF LICENSE. The App is licensed, not sold. This Agreement only gives you some rights to use the App. The separate terms of the Third-Party License apply in priority. You may use the App only in the manner permitted in this Agreement. In doing so, you must comply with any technical restrictions on the App that permit its use only in certain ways. You may not do the following:
   
   
   • Bypass technical limitations of the App,
   • Reverse engineer, decompile or disassemble the App, except and to the extent explicitly permitted by applicable law despite this limitation,
   • Make more copies of the App than specified in this Agreement or than permitted by law despite this restriction,
   • Publish or otherwise make the App available for third parties to make copies, rent, lease or loan the App.
     
     
4. DOCUMENTATION. If documentation is provided in connection with the App, you may copy and use it for reference purposes only.
   
   
5. TECHNOLOGY AND EXPORT RESTRICTIONS. The App may be subject to laws regarding technology monitoring or export laws and regulations of the United States or the international community. You must comply with all applicable laws in your country and internationally that relate to the technology used by, underlying or supported by the App. Such laws impose restrictions on destinations, end users, and end uses. 6. SUPPORT SERVICES. Microsoft, the device manufacturer, and the carrier are not obligated under this Agreement to provide support services for the App. Contact the App provider to inquire whether support services (if available) will be provided.
   
   
7. ENTIRE AGREEMENT. This Agreement and the terms and conditions for supplements and upgrades constitute the entire agreement for the App. If Microsoft is the App provider, this section cannot be used to modify the terms of your relationship with Microsoft with respect to Microsoft Office, Office Store, or any other Microsoft product or service (which or is subject to the software licensing terms or terms of use accompanying or associated with the applicable product or service).
   
   
8. APPLICABLE LAW. These terms of use and license are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Germany. The UN Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods (CISG) is excluded.
